His craving to secure her goads him into a fierceness and he fights against Ronno, at last toppling his opponent down a dike. Upon his triumph, he has demonstrated himself as a solid Prince who is equipped for securing Faline and she snuggles him tenderly, having picked him as her mate.
Bambi demonstrates his bravery and commitment to Faline again when Man had come back to chase in the woods with His canines. The pair had gotten differentiated and Faline was stuck on a ledge by the canines.
